The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) is pleased to announce that Cailin Bullett of Colby-Sawyer College has been selected as the winner of its Woman of the Year award in a vote of the league's athletic directors. A four-year standout women's basketball player at colby-Sawyer, Bullett will be honored at a home event during the 2013-14 academic year.

Green Mountain's Allison Wilcox continued her hot start, posting a double-double 19 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Southern Vermont to earn Rookie of the Week honors.

Husson first-year guard Victoria McIntyre averaged 15.3 points and 7.7 rebounds as Husson picked up its first win of the season and was named Rookie of the Week.

Megan Pelletier led Thomas to a weekend split, averaging 19 points per game and was named Rookie of the Week.

Burgess, the 2012 NAC Rookie of the Year, was the picture of concistency going over the 20-point, 12-rebound mark in both games. Megan Pelletier started her collegiate career off on a high note, pouring in a game-high 22 points and hauling in 15 rebounds to lead Thomas to a season opening win and earning Rookie of the Week accolades.
Colby-Sawyer College has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the North Atlantic Conference women's basketball title in a vote conducted by the league's coaches. The Chargers, who received seven first-place votes, return nine players and all five starters from last year’s team which finished runner-up to Castleton.
