Player of the Week

David LeBlanc, Husson
(Junior, OF - Beaumont, Alberta)

LeBlanc had five hits in 13 at-bats (.384), including a double and a triple, and knocked in four RBI over three games to help the Eagles win the 2019 NAC Baseball Tournament. He walked three times, stole a base, and crossed the plate three times over the weekend. In Game 6, LeBlanc scored the first run for Husson, and then launched a two-run single to left center that broke a 1-1 tie in the third inning and put the Eagles ahead 3-1 in what would be the final score in the Championship game. He was named Tournament MVP and collects his second weekly award of the season.


Pitcher of the Week

Jesse Colford, Husson
(Junior, P - Bangor, Maine)

Colford pitched a complete game shutout against NVU-Lyndon in Game 5 to help Husson advance to the final round of the NAC Baseball Tournament undefeated. Colford threw nine innings for the Eagles, giving up just one walk and six hits, while fanning seven batters on the way to a perfect 0.00 ERA and his seventh win of the season. Colford was named to the NAC All-Tournament Team and collects his second-consecutive Pitcher of the Week award.


Rookie of the Week

Kobe Rogerson, Husson
(Freshman, 2B - Brewer, Maine)

Rogerson started the week with two hits and five RBIs in a pair of conference wins over UMaine-Presque Isle to help Husson capture the No. 1 seed heading into the NAC tournament. Rogerson had seven hits in 11 at-bats for a .636 batting average in the tournament as Husson cruised through double-elimination action to become the 2019 champions. In total, Rogerson helped the Eagles to a 5-0 week with nine hits (including a double), seven RBI, five runs scored, and two walks in 18 at bats. He was also perfect in 21 total catches at second base and was named to the NAC All-Tournament Team. This is the third weekly honor for Rogerson in his rookie campaign.
